A Message from Mayor Donald Shaw - October 13, 2023

On behalf of the Roselle community, I would like to voice my deepest appreciation to Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel and his entire office for the 11-count indictment that has been returned on a 44-year-old man accused of murdering Keisha Morrison, 45, and Kelsey Morrison, 9, at their home in Roselle on April 19th. 

Since that time, the community has embraced the family members as they try to heal from this unthinkable ordeal.  The indictment for murder and many other charges provides some degree of solace to us all, knowing law enforcement is fully focused on this case and is steadfast in bringing the suspect to justice. I also thank the Roselle Police Department for its investigative work that helped make these indictments possible. 

We would like the family to know that the Roselle community will continue to support you as this case is adjudicated in the courts. We will be there through it all, with love, understanding, and compassion. You are never alone.
