Roselle Public Library Offers Robust Lineup of October Programs


Free Tutoring from Seton Hall University Students

The Roselle Public Library has unveiled a wide variety of virtual and in-person programs throughout the month of October, some of which focus on student achievement and academic support.

Starting October 13, 2021 virtual Homework Help will be offered by college-aged tutors from Seton Hall University, weekdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Students and families are encouraged to join via Zoom. Registration is required.

“Our new and growing partnership with Seton Hall University is a great opportunity for our students to have critical academic support outside of the classroom now that the school year is in full swing,” said Library Director Jeanne Marie Ryan.

For the rest of the month, Mondays kick off with a virtual Knitting/Crocheting at 5 p.m. and then an ESL program at 7 p.m. Tuesdays feature outdoor S.T.E.A.M activities at 3:30 p.m., while Wednesday, October 20 will feature virtual ESL programs at 7 p.m. and Wednesday, October 27 will be a special virtual Pajama Storytime at 7 p.m.

Thursdays will include two outdoor programs: Toddler Time at noon, and Art Journaling at 3:30 p.m. Fridays end the week with Lego play outdoors at 3:30 p.m.
