Borough of Roselle Encourages Eligible Residents to Apply for Excluded New Jerseyans Fund

Deadline Monday, February 28

The Excluded New Jerseyans Fund (ENJF) is open to apply through Feb. 28, 2022 and the Borough of Roselle has been connecting with the community to help residents apply.

In an information session hosted on Feb. 23, Assemblyman Rev. Reginald Atkins (D-20th Dist.) discussed the program in-depth with residents and assisted with applications.

Those excluded from federal COVID stimulus payments and pandemic unemployment assistance can now apply without providing documentation of COVID impact and can self-attest income if documentation is not available.

"Strong diverse communities need and require access to various programs and I'm happy about the approach the Mayor and Council is taking to bring much needed resources to the residents,” said Assemblyman Atkins. “The series of programs, the funding behind them, the step-by-step guides and interaction with the right professionals is exactly what's needed during the pandemic."

This program is open to undocumented individuals, residents returning from the justice system, and any other individuals otherwise excluded from pandemic-related financial help.
